Wicked Highland Creative really started at my kitchen table, surrounded by glitter, resin, and whatever else I could get my hands on. Crafting has always been my outlet—my way to quiet my thoughts and create something beautiful—but it became a lifeline when Dave’s cancer came back.

Those days were hard. Making things gave me something to hold onto, something that felt steady when everything else didn’t. It was my spark of calm in the middle of the storm.

After I lost Dave, I realized I didn’t just want to keep crafting for myself. I wanted to share that comfort with other people—to create a space where anyone could come, try different crafts, and maybe find the one that speaks to them the way it spoke to me.

What started out as a way to cover the cost of my hobby has grown into something bigger: a shop that helps people find that just-right handmade gift and a way to show how crafting can be healing.
